Wiz announced Thursday it plans to acquire channel-focused startup Dazz in a deal that aims to extend the vendor’s cloud and AI security platform with cloud remediation capabilities.

Prompt Security has raised $18 million amid a blizzard of cybersecurity funding. Founded in 2023, Prompt Security helps businesses close security gaps associated with AI usage.

Venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners acquired a majority stake in the Swedish cybersecurity company, Detectify, to combine application security and attack surface management capabilities.

The company intends to use the funds to further scale its AI-powered platform globally, accelerate continued innovation, and leverage opportunities for strategic M&A, providing added value to clients, partners, and the hacker community.

The Series A round was led by Munich Re Ventures, with participation from existing investors Crosslink Capital and Rally Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to continue its growth trajectory and expand its reach in the industry.

Armis, a provider of device detection and protection solutions for enterprises, has secured $200 million in Series D funding from investors including General Catalyst, Alkeon Capital Management, Brookfield Technology Partners, and Georgian.
