qBittorrent Fixes Flaw Exposing Users to MitM Attacks for 14 Years

qBittorrent has fixed a flaw that allowed remote code execution by not verifying SSL/TLS certificates in the DownloadManager component. This flaw was present since April 6, 2010, and was fixed in version 5.0.1 on October 28, 2024.
