Police disrupt “Diskstation” ransomware gang attacking NAS devices

An international law enforcement operation, codenamed 'Operation Elicius', dismantled the Romanian ransomware gang known as 'Diskstation'. The group encrypted the systems of several companies in the Lombardy region of Italy.
