Hackers breach fintech firm in attempted $130M bank heist

A major cyberattack targeted Sinqia S.A. in an attempted $130 million heist via Brazil’s Pix real-time payment system. The attackers attempted to execute unauthorized B2B transactions involving two financial institutions that are customers of Sinqia.
