Florida Orthopaedic Reaches $4M Settlement Over 2020 Health Data Theft

The proposed settlement will resolve claims that the security incident was caused by FOI’s failure to adhere to industry security standards, as well as violations of the HIPPA and failure to timely notify impacted patients.
