Five Ransomware Groups Responsible for 40% of Cyberattacks in 2024

Of the ransomware attacks in Q3 2024, 40% can be traced to the following five groups: RansomHub, PLAY, LockBit 3.0, MEOW, and Hunters International. The total number of active ransomware groups globally rose to 59, according to the report.
