FBI Warns Scammers Spoofing FBI Office Phone Numbers in Government Impersonation Fraud

The FBI has seen a recent increase in phone calls that spoof the Bureau’s phone number as part of various scams, but most recently in trying to obtain banking data or gift card/wire transfer payments.
