Chinese Nationals Sanctioned for Botnet Used to Steal ‘Billions’ in COVID-19 Relief Funds

According to the Treasury, the botnet was especially useful “when carrying out credit card theft” and was used to facilitate tens of thousands of fraudulent applications related to COVID-19 relief funding.
