BIOS Flaws Expose Illumina iSeq 100 DNA Sequencers to Bootkit Attacks

Researchers found that the vulnerable BIOS (B480AM12 - 04/12/2018) on iSeq 100 did not have firmware protections enabled, which allowed modifying the code for booting the device.
