Apple releases security updates for iOS, iCoud, MacOS, and other products

• Apple has released security updates for its products including iCloud, Safari 12.0.3, watchOS 5.1.3, tvOS 12.1.2, macOS Mojave, and iOS 12.1.3.
• These security updates are fixes for numerous security vulnerabilities such as remote code execution, privilege escalation, and information disclosure bugs.

On January 22, 2019, Apple released security updates for its products including iCloud, Safari 12.0.3, watchOS 5.1.3, tvOS 12.1.2, macOS Mojave, iOS 12.1.3.

These security updates are fixes for numerous security vulnerabilities such as remote code execution, privilege escalations, and information disclosure bugs. Users of any these products should update them to in order to fix the vulnerabilities.

Security update for iOS 12.1.3

Security update for iOS includes fixes for numerous remote code execution, privilege escalation, and sandbox escape vulnerabilities such as,

• A Bluetooth vulnerability (CVE-2019-6200) that could allow attackers to perform remote code execution.
• Facetime vulnerability (CVE-2019-6224) that could allow remote attackers to initiate Facetime call causing arbitrary code execution.
• Another vulnerability (CVE-2019-6206) that could allow password autofill to fill in passwords after they were manually cleared.
• Numerous vulnerabilities that could allow remote code execution to happen by just visiting a malicious site.

Security update for macOS Mojave 10.1.4.3

Security update for macOS Mojave includes fixes for multiple remote code execution, privilege escalation, and information disclosure vulnerabilities such as,

• A hypervisor vulnerability (CVE-2018-4467) that could allow attackers to perform privilege escalation.
• Remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2018-4452) that could allow remote code execution via Intel graphics driver.
• Another vulnerability (CVE-2019-6220) which exists in the image and animation processing API called QuartzCore that could allow attackers to read restricted memory.

Security updates for iCloud, Safari 12.0.3, watchOS 5.1.3, and tvOS 12.1.2

• Apple also released a security update for iCloud. The update is available for Windows 7 and later.
• It has also released security update for Safari 12.0.3, which is available for Sierra 10.12.6 and High Sierra 10.13.6.
• Security update for watchOS 5.1.3 is available for all Apple watch models.
• Security update for tvOS 12.1.2 is availabe for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV 4th generation.
