Utility Cyber Security Forum Europe 2023
The European Union has one of the most reliable energy networks in the world. However, as distributed energy resources increasingly are connected to the grid, more opportunities arise for hackers and nation-state actors to compromise the cyber security of the grid. As digitization across the EU utility sector moves forward, previously separate systems IT and OT systems are being brought together, leading to higher risk of cyber attack and penetration of critical SCADA systems. In this environment, unprecedented attacks -- such as the one last August on Montenegro's critical state infrastructure - will become more common. EU utility cyber security forumTo help electric utilities in the EU meet this challenge, the EU Utility Cyber Security Forum, November 14-15, 2023 in London, brings together key technology innovators, utility cyber security executives, and other industry stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in cybersecurity.
