The state of Washington has sued T-Mobile over allegations that the phone giant failed to secure the personal data of millions of state residents prior to an August 2021 data breach that affected over 79 million customers across the U.S.

Kiteworks (formerly Accellion) secured $456 million in private equity funding. The investment from Insight Partners and Sixth Street Growth will support Kiteworks' acquisitions, including four smaller enterprise startups since 2022.

Existing investors Greylock Partners, Cyberstarts, Insight Partners, and Index Ventures are collectively described as “leading” the round. Dazz, which launched in 2021, has now raised around $110 million in total.

TeamViewer, a leading provider of remote access tools, has confirmed that its corporate network is currently under a cyberattack. The company has identified the attackers as a government-backed Russian intelligence group known as APT29.

Semperis, a company specializing in Active Directory (AD) security, has raised $125 million in funding from J.P. Morgan and Hercules Capital. The funding will be used for research and development (R&D) and business development.

The Series B round was led by Addition, with participation from Chevron Technology Ventures, Legal & General, Braavos Capital, and Oxford Science Enterprises. PQShield plans to use the funds to expand its commercial operations.
